For all charity craftsters out there

I wanted to share a program taking place in Argentina to knit/crochet squares for blankets to be delivered in empoverished regions of that country. The information is provided in this blog from Ñañakay....it is in spanish....hope you can join too :-)

It is basically about knitting/crocheting 10cm x 10 cm squares with green yarn (any hue and tonality is fine...as long as is green). The squares are sent to the organization and they will put together the blankets and deliver them.

...Feeling the strong desire to give back today....
I went to my Kiva lender page and found that many of my microloans have been repaid so I have more money to lend again...hurray!! And, once my business takes off, I am planning to lend 10% of my earnings in the form of Kiva microloans....hopefully more :-) If you have not heard of Kiva, please visit their site. There is even a Ravelry group called Kiva Loaners if you want to find out more about fiber folks joining in :-)
